Description

Synonyms: Sundial Lupine | Wild Lupine A perennial, forms clumps of basal leaves with leaflets in digitate clusters, flowers in spikes, mostly blue but sometimes pink or white. Blooms from mid-May through June. Distributed from Maine to Florida, dry woods, clearings and openings. Best in full sun, dry to moist soils; thrives in well-drained soil, do not transplant. Attracts hummingbirds.
