Description
A perennial, cool season, native bunchgrass 12 to 36 tall. Although it will grow anywhere, it prefers silt loam or sandy loam soils. Idaho Fescue has excellent cold tolerance, moderate drought tolerance, moderate shade tolerance, and adapted to stabilization of disturbed soils.
