Description
A long-lived perennial, cool season, introduced sod-forming grass 36 to 48. The grass has basal type leaves and spreads by rhizomes. Its strongest asset is its ability to stay green into the summer months when soil moisture is adequate. It has adapted to a wide range of conditions, including low- fertility soils, and saline soil tolerant, making it drought and winter tolerant.
